Christian Bale took a break from filming his new film The Bride to celebrate Mother's Day with his wife Sibi Blazic.

The 50-year-old actor - who tied the knot with Blazic back in 2000 - was spotted out with his 54-year-old wife and their 10-year-old son Joseph on Sunday. 

The Oscar-winning actor has been spotted filming The Bride in New York City since March, seen kissing co-star Jessie Buckley on set earlier this month.

Bale stepped out wearing a black hoodie, with the hood up over his bald head that he shaved for the film.

He also rocked dark blue pants and grey sneakers, as he was seen carrying some flowers for his wife.

Bale and Blazic first met on the set of 1994's Little Women, which Bale starred in alongside Winona Ryder, who Blazic was working for as her personal assistant.

They tied the knot in 2000 and share two children, Emmeline, 19, and Joseph, 10, residing in Los Angeles.

Bale leads a diverse cast in director Maggie Gyllenhaal's second film, The Bride, which is filming in New York City.

The film takes inspiration from the 1935 film Bride of Frankenstein, which was inspired by Frankenstein creator Mary Shelley's 1818 novel Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus.

The story is set in 1935 Chicago, with Dr. Frankenstein enlisting the help of Dr. Euphronius to create a companion for Frankenstein's monster (Bale).

They ultimately give new life to a murdered woman, now known just as The Bride (Jessie Buckley).

When she comes back to life, she surprises her creators with a new lust for romance and ignites a radical social movement.

The cast also includes Penelope Cruz, Annette Bening, Julianne Hough, John Magaro and Peter Sarsagaard, the director's husband, who she tied the knot with in 2009.

Gyllenhaal directs from a script she wrote, based on characters created by Mary Shelley.

The writer-director also produces alongside Emma Tillinger Koskoff, Osnat Handelsman-Keren and Talia Kleinhendler.

Warner Bros. has set an October 3, 2025 release date for The Bride, which doesn't have any direct competition as of late.

Bale is also attached to star in The Church of Living Dangerously, playing preacher John Lee Bishop, who became ensnared into running drugs for a Mexican cartel.
